After a decade of multi-award-winning music with RVG, Romy Vager is set to debut her new musical chapter in 2026. Releasing her third album Brain Worms with RVG in June 2023 the band continued their streak of Feature Album status across radio stations Double J, RRR, PBS and 2SER as well as landing in the Top 5 Vinyl ARIA charts. Brain Worms won the Australian Music Prize, AIR Independent Album Of The Year & Music Victoria Award for Best Group and received 4 Music Victoria nominations, 4 AIR Award nominations and a J Award nomination. Romy herself was shortlisted for APRA AMCOS Song of the Year for album track ‘Nothing Really Changes’.

In support of Brain Worms Romy has headlined The Forum, Northcote Theatre and Phoenix Central Park, undertaken a support tour throughout the UK with Billy Nomates, a headline tour of the UK and Europe, and played festivals including Dark Mofo, Golden Plains and Splendour In The Grass

Since releasing debut record A Quality of Mercy in 2017 RVG have made huge strides both at home and internationally. The release of second album Feral in April 2020 saw them receive feature album on radio stations across the board plus rave reviews internationally including from Mojo, Paste, Brooklyn Vegan, The Big Issue, Rolling Stone Au, NME Au and Sydney Morning Herald

RVG have an extensive international touring history that has seen them develop dedicated audiences across the world. Romy has showcased at music industry events including at SXSW, The Great Escape, Reeperbahn Music Festival and BIGSOUND, plus played international festivals Roskilde Festival, Pitchfork Festival, Festival Les Escales and many more. They have performed a BBC Radio 1 Live Session at the iconic Maida Vale Studios and a KEXP Live Session in between lockdowns in Melbourne.
